Bite-sized Glimpses of My Life

{YAMP} March 5-9

I made Healthy Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough tonight, which I hadn’t made since the first time a few weeks ago. As I did, I remembered sneaking perfectly shaped frozen Schwan’s chocolate chip dough from the freezer on hot summer days. I would strategically take it so as to arouse less suspicion, although my mom’s a smart cookie who I’m sure knew full well that some were missing and who was the culprit! Continue reading

A Slight Change in Diet & Exercise, Plus This Week’s Meal Plan

A good friend of mine has had great success replacing one meal a day with Shakeology, the super good for you protein shake made by the same company that does p90x, Beachbody. He’s a coach and let me have three packets to try, and let me tell ya – it was good stuff! So, I ordered a month’s supply and started replacing my lunch with a shake last Saturday.

Therefore, unless otherwise noted, my lunch from now on will be a Shakeology shake.
